Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 22, 2026 | Last updated: October 2026

Tether Workspace ("Tether", "we", "us", or "our"), accessible from https://usetether.web.id, respects the privacy of our users and is committed to protecting personal data collected through our academic collaboration and project lifecycle platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when creating an account, building a profile, creating a project workspace, or submitting milestone deliverables:

Account credentials (name, email address).
Academic profile data (faculty, skills, portfolio links, availability blocks).
Workspace activity, task completion telemetry, and peer evaluations.

2. How We Use Information & AI Processing

We use the collected information to operate, maintain, and improve our services, specifically:

Enabling skill-gap matching and automated project health diagnostics using AI and machine learning architectures (including models provided via Anthropic's Claude API).
Preventing academic free-riding through cryptographic dual-confirmation gatekeeping.
Providing notifications and operational updates.

3. Data Protection and Zero Data Selling

Tether does not sell, rent, or monetize student or institutional personal data. All data submitted to third-party AI APIs (such as Anthropic) is processed securely in accordance with enterprise data protection and privacy standards.
